Underwood Baptist Free Community Church

The church drama group started in 1990.  the acronym stands for ‘Redeemed Of Christ’s Kingdom Serving Our Lord In Drama’,  the name was given by the Lord during a church service.  The group is made up of ladies who attend the church but we have several men and children who take cameo parts, when the need arises.  Rock Solid has performed with Underwood Baptist Singers in several Roger Jones musicals over the years. A firm favourite is the story of Moody and Sankey,  which has been performed in several churches in the Gwent area.

 

We mainly perform at special services such as Mother’s Day, Harvest, Christingle etc. 

There have been too many performances to list over the years but the last one was ‘HMS Christianity’ see photo.  Who says God doesn’t have a sense of humour?
