Underwood Baptist Free Community Church

The Project is designed to enable members of the local community to run projects, for a specific or ongoing periods. Over the years there have been numerous projects, such as IT training, playgroup and classes for learning Welsh!

 

The building is owned by the church and attracted funding to be refurbished for the work of the Project. It was opened in 2005 as the Oasis Centre. Regularly, on Sundays and at times during the week the Centre is used for our Oasis children’s ministry and for Youth Night.

 

The Project and Centre are overseen by the church but has its own Committee.who are always keen to hear of projects the community wish to start. Hire rates are extremely reasonable, the emphasis being on wanting to see the Community developing opportunities to come together etc, rather than simply making a profit.
